Day 4
Day 4 of training gave us the opportunity to network with our team mates. The first assignment to find a program, research it, download it, capture it was very difficult for our group. Every program we tried were corrupt, but we received encouragement from Ginny. Thanks Ginny! The second assignment was easier for us, and we really enjoyed creating the animated video. It was a lot of fun, and all of my group members participated and helped create a fun, loving video.

Day 3
Day three was even more exciting. Interacting with our teammates has began making training more fun. Being able to ask friendly faces questions you don't know and getting a response and help immediately has been helpful. Playing on the Promethean Board with Jason gave us insight on all the components of the quality of the board. We just would not like to make the tragic mistake of messing up a $25,000 tool. Lastly, being able to create and watch good and bad introductions helped us to be a help to our neighbor. Some was shy to give eye to eye contact and speak into a camera. When we encouraged one another and practiced, practiced, practiced, we were able to overcome some of the obstacles that we thought we could not do!

Day 2
Day two was very interesting! Having to enteract with my peers and combining thoughts started out as a struggle, but when we put aside or differences, we were able to complete our job with on time. Learning how to make a movie with Windows Movie Makers was fun, and I learned how to use another technology technique on the computer. THANKS!

Day 1
The first day of training was very interesting. I learned about blogging, which I am doing now, and I also learned the meaning of several technology terms such as: Promethean board, podcast and vodcast. I really appreciated the step by step technique that is being taught for us new beginners. Being engaged into the classroom is very helpful, because when I came home trying to repeat the steps taught on today I was able to familiarize myself with the knowledge that I was taught on today. The most difficult task I encountered was finding the signature page. After a couple of searches, I was able to find and complete my homework. It was really cool to began creating a podcast.

Chiwanda McGill: My goals for this internship is to help educate our children of the future how to use technology. To let them know that it is not as hard as they make think it maybe. I have a son that is only five years old and he already knows how to use a computer and other technology devices.
Quintina Peterson: During this internship, I hope to become more knowledgeable about technology and its use in a classroom setting. Some of my other goals include to improve my networking, presentation, and public speaking skills, and to establish professional connections and contacts. I also would like to help students become more involved in the learning process through the use of technology. I also want to use this internship to get a glimpse of the educational/teaching arena. By doing this I will be able to explore a new different field of study before making a serious commitment.
